Sunrise Hike: Las Vegas Wash Trail
This early morning guided hike at Ice Age Fossils State Park takes place on June 7, 2026, from 5:00 am to 7:30 am along the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Wash Trail, offering participants a chance to experience the desert as it wakes up before the heat of the day. The program is open to all ages but requires advance registration, is capped at 40 people, and late or unregistered arrivals will not be allowed, with check-in only permitted between 5:00 and 5:20 am. The trail features uneven terrain, including steps and steep sections, making it unsuitable for wheelchairs or most mobility devices, and pets are not permitted for safety reasons.
